Thanks for your reply, i bought the phone secondhand and as you said the screen still has the same problem. But at least the overall user experience is much better than my previous R6 thanks to 8gen2

R8 owner here. The answer is yes. Basically all sharp phones with pro IGZO Oled. Sold R7 for R8 because of it just to face the same issue. Still using it though.
