It's simply "laggy" because of the slow animation speeds, not because of a low-end chipset. And this is well-equipped for a $30 phone, because phones with weaker chipsets retail above $70 on average, regardless of the carrier lock stat...
First off, i was comparing to say "This screen sucks, but it probably just sucks because im used to the more premium screens." About the animations to speed it up. About to shock you here but Disabling animations does little-nothin...
Imagine comparing a $30 unlocked phone to a $500 phone and then complaining about it. If it's laggy, you can disable animations to speed it up. Works fine, as done with the Nokia C32 with a similar chipset.
