nubia Red Magic 8 Pro coming on December 16
The Red Magic 8 Pro is arriving tomorrow, December 16, nubia revealed on its Weibo page. The brand, partially owned by ZTE, mentioned “series”, meaning we are getting more than one smartphone at the launch in China.
According to TENAA, there are two nubia Red Magic 8 Pro versions - one with a 5,000 mAh battery and another where the capacity is 6,000 mAh. The smartphone was certified by 3C with 165W fast charging, but we will likely see it coupled with the smaller battery.
The bigger one is set to be the biggest power cell we have seen in a Red Magic smartphone, but we are still waiting to see what fast-charging capabilities it will have. Both phones are likely to retain the “nubia Red Magic 8 Pro” moniker, with one being branded as Supreme or Ultimate or similar to differentiate it.
ZTE nubia Red Magic 7S Pro
The bigger question is what other differences these phones will have, or it will be just the battery, while the chipset surely being Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on both variants.

The question is when will it release at all? It should have been released yesterday and yet no update on what happened, if it was postponed or not....
