ZTE Android

ZTE will be at MWC to demonstrate 5G technologies and unveil its latest mobile devices. The company just revealed on social media it will introduce a tablet called Nubia Pad 3D, which will offer3D effects without the need for special glasses.

ZTE to bring Nubia Pad 3D at MWC

The event is scheduled for February 28 at 3PM local time (CET), and ZTE will showcase the device at its booth in Hall 3 of Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. According to the post on Weibo, it will be the world’s first AI technology for images in all three dimensions to the viewer.

Our understanding is that the engine will track your eyes and simulate a 3D effect without the need for glasses or a special parallax barrier display.

The tablet will come with a USB-C port, two front-facing cameras in the thin bezel, and what appears to be a big sensor between the shooters, likely needed for the 3D effects implementation. We will be attending MWC, and once the tablet is official, we will have more details on how it actually works.

Honestly? I do kind of agree, it would be interesting to see 3D stuff with the tech we have now. It's just funny seeing 3D again after it almost bankrupted Sony.
