ZTE teases Android Q beta for the Axon 10 Pro

ZTE wants to let you know that it's aware that a brand spanking new version of Android is on the way. The Chinese company posted a teaser on Weibo earlier today, in which it basically acknowledges Android Q is a thing. It's also confirming that it's working on an Android Q beta for the Axon 10 Pro, its latest flagship smartphone, introduced in May in China.

The teaser comes with a QR code that you can scan to be taken to a link where you can register for more updates about the upcoming Android Q beta release for the Axon 10 Pro. Sadly though, this only applies to Chinese units (at least for now), but if you really wanna do the deed check out the Source linked below.

Hopefully ZTE will be quick to follow up the beta Android Q build with a finalized stable one not long after Google releases it to its Pixels next month. On the other hand, given ZTE's track record in this regard, the wait is likely to be quite long, perhaps even extending into early next year. We'll have to wait and see, but one thing is clear: Android Q is coming to the Axon 10 Pro.

How quick ye forget about the Axon 7 which did get the promised 2 OS upgrades and 3 years of security patches. Sure, the Acon 9 Pro doesn't seem to be getting anything but my guess is thatvit was because the phone sold very poorly. Here's hoping...

Very surprising considering ZTE never updates their phones beyond the version of the OS it ships with
