There will be two successors of the e-ink display-toting YotaPhone 2 - YotaPhone 3 and YotaPhone 2c. The word arrived from the company’s Managing Director for the Americas.
As expected, YotaPhone 3 will bring updated hardware, including more capable chipset, sharper display, and improved e-ink display. YotaPhone 2c on the other hand, will lack some of the YotaPhone 2 features in order to deliver dual screen goodness to users at a more affordable price.
The release timeframe of YotaPhone 3 and YotaPhone 2c depends on the success of YotaPhone 2, though wireless carriers are reportedly already interested in the duo. YotaPhone 2 arrived in the United States last week via Indiegogo with $500 price tag.
