Xiaomi is reportedly working on a phone with support for 200W wired charging, as well as wireless charging, reverse wireless charging and a 5,000mAh battery. The report comes from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station (translated) on Weibo.
The report claims the device is geared towards the second half of the year, but it sounds very much like the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which is expected earlier.
Last year, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra was the fastest-charging phone in 2020 with 120W wired charging. It only makes sense that its successor bring even faster charging. So far in 2021 the vivo iQOO 7 and nubia Red Magic 6 Pro have been able to match the 120W charging of last year's Xiaomi smartphone.
