Xiaomi Smart wearables Featured In for review

Xiaomi made the trek to Google's Wear OS for the Watch 2 Pro and it makes for a solid smart wearable that's ready to compete with Samsung's Galaxy Watch6 Classic. What's more, Xiaomi's watch is €270 for the Bluetooth model and €330 for an LTE-ready one - Samsung's watch crosses the €400 mark.

You get the watch in either Black with a fluoroelastomer strap or silver with a leather strap and Xiaomi's proprietary wireless charger.

Upfront the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro has your standard 1.43-inch 466x466px OLED display with as much as 600 nits. It's packed into a 46mm casing. Xiaomi went with the newest, 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Plus chipset, which means the Watch 2 Pro should be good for a few OS updates. It also runs smooth and fast.

There's a rotating crown flanked by two buttons on the right side of the watch. The crown is very smooth to turn and easy to get used to. A tap on it brings up the app's grid and scrolling up and down moves the grid in accordance. It's as good as navigating a watch can be, outside of Samsung's rotating bezel.

Xiaomi packed the Watch 2 Pro with a skin temperature sensor, a body composition sensor that was so far only available on the Galaxy Watch series, and a dual-frequency GPS, more akin to more expensive Garmin watches.

Finally, the Watch 2 Pro packs a potent 495mAh battery - a whole 70mAh bigger than the Galaxy Watch6 Classic's battery. Xiaomi says the Watch 2 Pro could do up to 65 hours on a single charge in Bluetooth-only mode, which is impressive for a Wear OS device. We'll make sure to check that in our review, among various other aspects of its performance. Don't go anywhere!

"Accelerometer, gyro, compass and barometer have no use on a watch as these got nothing to do with fitness." This is probably just some trolling.
