Today Xiaomi has decided that Samsung isn't the only Android handset maker that can play the game of adding new color versions to a device a few months after its release in order to make people interested in it again. Blue Coral? Black Pearl?
Well, not exactly, but close anyway. See, over in its home market of China, Xiaomi has now made the Redmi Note 4 available in two new colors: blue and black. Previously (and since its introduction this summer), the Redmi Note 4 was only offered in silver, gray, and gold.
But from now on you can choose a blue or black Redmi Note 4. The hues certainly aren't as glossy as the aforementioned new colors for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, but they are different - and may just entice certain people to pick up a Redmi Note 4. One thing's for sure, this has definitely brought the affordable phablet back in the news.
The blue and black models are only up for grabs with the 3GB of RAM plus 32GB of storage or 3GB of RAM plus 64GB of storage configurations of the Redmi Note 4, but they do cost the same as the gray, silver, and gold ones.
