Just bought one recently under $100 for basic model ... Should I update to MIUI 14?? How was the MIUI 14 performance? Hope someone willing to share their experience.

This Tablet works fine "Only" with 6gb ram . Its perfect no problem every day !

I recently sold my iPad mini 6 which I was using for 2 years because of battery issues, latest on 5 hours or less and bought a Redmi Pad with 6/128, together got a Redmi buds 4 pro with spatial sound because the Beats Studio buds I got did not have spatial audio as Apple claimed asked a refund or exchange they refused outright after 7 calls .
Still have iPad Air with M1. The Redmi Pad hardware is with 4 speakers Dolby Atmos , screen is HD and fırst time with android , very responsive great screen size and 1 billion color instead of 16 million for iPad Air ( apple does not say the colour specs) great for watching movies, 8000 battery lasts for 2 days on normal use combined with redmi buds I don't think I will going back to Apple , unless they pull a miracle on September 12 .
I use whatever tablet for YouTube,nexflix and rest , shopping and reading news ( redmi has book reading module which cuts the blue light unheard on apple ) were browsing .
Redmi is so good that I will be getting a Xiaomi 6 table with 8Gb/256. reason being the screen is dolby vision and I can use pen ( perhaps ) . Looked at samsung S9 , too expensive . iPads too expensive and apart from software and apple garden noting to write home .
Redmi does the job with flying colors for 150 euro . a bargain . Xiaomi keep up the great products , now will get Poco 12 and sell my ultra watch and iPhone SE when Xiaomi can get smartwatch as accurate as apple . thanks

260 euros in europe is a scam
beware on cheaper models on ali xp, these euro models are in fact chinese re-flahsed. Which is, 100% leading to security and compatiblity issues.
also too much "no" : no gps, no fingerprint, no mobile network. and 4gb model is a joke.
then some specs are attractive, os looks nice, but it's a trap. xiaomi MIUI pad os I woudln't trust. even if any os has spyware/forced ad & update nowadays, xiaomi has always been the worst about those.
at the end, it's a useless tab, and you'll loose your time and 260.
as I read in previous comments, skip this and let's those pseudo-tech companies learn their lessons for longer.

The 6+128GB model of Redmi Pad is sold in less then 900 yuan (around 125$ ) in China recently.
With this price I think it's the most valuable pad.

Hank H, 20 Jun 2023Redmi Pad cannot connect with usb c hub to extend devices: keyboard, mouse,...It can use USB keyboards, because I'm using one to type this right now. It also supports a card reader.
