My phone is not turning on at the moment, it has a problem with the old battery. This phone is also running slow and overheating, so it's not suitable for gaming.
The camera's photo quality is still decent compared to the latest phone models.
The video quality is good for using third-party apps, but again, the slow performance of the phone causes the video to be choppy.

My phone randomly reboots and some apps force close from time to time. Formating stops the problem for few days then it returns again. Anyone knows the problem? Is it the battery or not? (The battery is still good though and it's the original one). I don't want to change the battery for nothing. So I want to know if someone solved this common problem.

I'm using this phone with Pixel Experience (Android 13) and it works great. Still on the original battery and it has 80% of capacity left. I don't see a reason to buy a new phone when the old one works well, especially with a custom ROM with fresh Android and security patches.

After using it since April of 2019, now the phone's emmc has come to the last stage. It bootloops after certain days and have to either format data or change to another ROM.

My device is constantly shutting down, I have changed the battery but it's still not okay, once the screen is timed out I will need to unclip and reclip the battery before it turn on. What's the solution please

it's been 6 years.currently using with cracked both front and back cover😂.missing power button.camera both main and selfie has dust in them.battery i think it's normal(atleast for 6 yrs old original battery) it can last whole day if i don't use(heavy). if i use nonstop(normal) it last abt 6hrs? around.
for game💀 only last like 2hrs.with fan 💀. well anyway it's my first ever phone and still rocking 🤣

Use pixel experience from, for all those of u still using this phone. Best way to prolong it's lifespan

I have mine and still functional up to this date, all i can say is the build quality is on another level due to the fact that my phone still don't have scratch after all this years. Compare it to newer phones that if you accidentally drop it, will have many scratch and will be broke.

Changed battery once in summer 2023. after more than 4 years of work. Mostly because it was used as a car navigation and was under the windshield under direct sun. So the battery bloated. Other than that, everything is more or less ok. Still using MIUI, no custom ROMs. I experimented with custom ROMs frequently with one of my previous phones. Unstable, unreliable, functions not working... Back to RN7: it has a little quieter phone speaker, charging contact a little wobbly, but nothing serious. Buttons are ok. Screen also. Dropped it several times. Fantastic phone in 200EUR-os price range.

I bought the phone in April 2019. I took real good care of the battery until I was forced to use the phone as a hotspot for prolonged periods and it killed the battery by December 2022. But that battery gave me more than 3 1/2 years of service.
I replaced the power button a few months ago, about 4 years after buying the phone.
I did go through two shockproof back covers(they all disintegrated with time) and now using the phone without one. Also, went through multiple screen protectors.
I have the 3GB RAM version. I have installed many ROMs, but I keep returning to MIUI mostly because my phone does not have enough RAM. Also, custom ROMs aren't the best when it comes to battery life. The best custom rom I got so far was PixelExperience A13. (A12 sucked a lot of battery btw). Right now I am on Android 9 MIUI 11 runs great.
Saw other people get display issues because of low-quality Tianma displays. I have the same model/make. But I made sure not to use full brightness and always used the dark mode with night/reading mode enabled.
Gcam takes good photos. Video stabilization works.
All in all, a really solid phone

Me, 18 Nov 2023This one bad. It freezes like 5 times a day someone told me to using custom ROM to fix the fre... moreits hardwar problem if u tried to flash it many time with same result, hot air fix or change motherboard
