Xiaomi has made official a new color option for its Redmi Note 5 smartphone, dubbed Flame Red. The model has been launched in China, and comes in 4GB RAM and 64GB storage options.
As for pricing, the new variant carries a tag of CNY 1,399 (around $213). Sales begin today. With this, the Redmi Note 5 is now available in a total of five color options, with the other four being Black, Gold, Rose Gold, Blue.
If you recall, we were speculating the Chinese company to make this new color option official during its July 3 event. Now, it seems we'll only see the Mi 6X Hatsune Edition getting announced at the event.
It's my fault for having different names on basically the same smartphones. No, I don't put the blame on Xiaomi, since the manufacturer is always right.
There was a mistake made by admins..they originally stated that redmi 5 plus is getting the color upgrade...but then readers pointed out about the dual cam setup and its not a redmi 5 plus , they changed it
