Awesome phone. I'm using it mostly for experiments. Lineage OS with some indian build worked flawlessly. Best phone ever

2025 It works and is mainly used for calls, but YouTube videos work normally.

In 2025, I will still use the Redmi Note 4, even though it is still often forced-closed, and is no longer compatible with several applications such as YouTube and Twitter.

Still rocks up to this date. Still in Android 7 (Nougat) stock os. But having crash lag issue in big memory apps of course. But in totality it's worth it.

Everything is good and still no lag. My primary device is 6+ yrs old Redmi note 5 pro, all original, still working fine. They say life of smartphone battery lasts upto 5 years, and mine is still fine. I wonder if it would ever die.
