My Redmi note 13pro has not received the Hyperos2. it is an indian version.
When should it arrive?
Cannot use voice-to-text input in Telegram. This is a disaster.
ECJames, 23 Jan 2025I actually switched to the old control center just to get rid of the lagginess. May seem ugly ... moreTried it and it works great. I don't care about the looks, i just want a stable notification drawer
Hew86ey, 23 Jan 2025I've not experienced any issues with the update, I had to change the region to Argentina ... morenice advise. I will try that on monday. But did you got the deep effect on the wallpaper?

May seem ugly at first but it was faster than the other control center. I wish i knew how to downgrade the phone but i might end up bricking it.
Zero, 19 Jan 2025UPDATE: Already did a factory reset yesterday and the phone still sucks. HyperOS 2 is buggy... moreI've not experienced any issues with the update, I had to change the region to Argentina and then force the update that way as here in UK didn't seem to get the update
Now that the new Note 14 series is out I have been looking at the specs. And may sound like a stupid question...is the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G better than the Poco X7 Pro or the new Redmi Note 14 5G Global variant?
After updated to latest HyperOS (3 Jan 2025) the only I noticed is harder gesture(s), for some reason the gesture(s) require a bit longer than MIUI in home screen and navigation, so you cannot flick a finger, but must swipe a longer distance to get an action.
Some games lag and framming so bad, playing HoK and MLBB, after several matches, the FPS got dropped form 90 to 58-60 (stable), and hen drop again to 24-32 fps (stable) at 40-45°C [1/4 capacity of my phone already occupied, and game turbo turned on]. Otherword, this 120Hz screen refresh rate is not bad, but for gaming purpose, this isn't helping at all.
Other than gaming, the phone is good to go, but not great enough for a daily-multitasking work
Zero, 20 Jan 2025Yeah. Mee too. HyperOS 1 is more stable. And to be honest, almost to none has changed. Same UI... moreFr. Only changes i noticed is preformance and the charging animation but i don't see any other changes.
Anonymous, 02 Jan 2025Planning to buy it this March, will it still be good? I just love the design and everything.not really good, samsung A35 better
urban19, 19 Jan 2025Its laggy and buggy for me as well. I wish i stayed on HyperOS 1Yeah. Mee too. HyperOS 1 is more stable. And to be honest, almost to none has changed. Same UI, but different performances. HyperOS 1 performs better. I don't really care about animation, I only care about stability, performance, reliability and the quality of camera app.

UPDATE:
Already did a factory reset yesterday and the phone still sucks. HyperOS 2 is buggy. Laggy control center, delayed option when long pressing the app on the home screen, lots of bloatwares that cannot be uninstalled or disabled and lots of ads. You need to go thought every app just to disable the ads which is kinda annoying and hustle. Random force close on some apps, no AI lockscreen feature like in the advertisement of some youtubers (on my variant) and so on. For me, HyperOS 1 is much better and stable than HyperOS 2

I am confused between this phone and the Samsung A35 phone. My friend has owned it for two months and wants to sell it at an acceptable price. I am confused between them. I do not want anything except stability of applications in the background and speed in general performance. I do not want games. I do not care much about cameras or even charging speed.
At first it was very sluggish and very slow. Especially the keyboard and control center. But after an overnight, it goes back to normal. I still want to factory reset it maybe on Monday due to it is a major update. The only things I don't like are you can't clear the system cache and icons are sooo fuckin small even at largest icon setting. So far so good but I am missing the people lock screen style which is the only reason i upgraded
Nadimak , 16 Jan 2025How did you do that? I'm not sure if I can post a link here, so google up "How to Disable Ads in MIUI & HyperOS on your Xiaomi, Poco or Redmi phone". There is a good article on nextpit regarding the topic. Ofc there are also plenty of others too.
The most important step is to deactivate MSA application ("Authorisation and revocation" in "Passwords & Security" in Settings) and after 10 seconds revoke. Then restart the phone.
Once you do this most part of the problem is solved. To clean the system a bit deeper you should deactivate ads in xiaomi system apps (browser, themes etc.).
I deactivated ads in MIUI and it still works after updating to HyperOS.
Received the December Patch yesterday, but today, currently downloading Android 15 HyperOS 2.0.2.0VNFMIXM at 4.8GB capacity
