I finally found a fix for YouTube and Gmail that always force closes on HyperOS 2.0. I just changed the year of the phone to 2023, open youtube and gmail, then switch back to year 2025. And the force close thing disappeared. Even after updating to 2.0.5.0, the issue is no longer present

I have this phone and these are pros and cons of this phone by my opinion:
Pros:
Very good quality camera
Very Lightweight
Very loud speakers + Dolby Atmos
Costumations + Always on display
Pre installed screen protector and gray case in box
Fast charging
Cons:
Battery life is not impressive
Little heating with heavy gaming

I have used the redmi note 13 pro for a year now but I have noticed after software update the battery 🔋 struggle to go for a full day
Somehow the battery drains so fast even when there is no apps running on the background or running at all.

hey guys, i'm considering buying this phone as my former phone finally gave up today.
i need to be clear if it's the right move. The most important things to me on a phone are:
1). Battery( I should be getting at least a full day use with the battery. I'm not a heavy user, the only game i play is Clash of Clans and Ms Solitaire collection. I hope it should be able to carry these games and not overheat).
2). Stability and Trust: I've really been through hell with my old phone. It had a motherboard issue and i've been to everywhere to try and fix it in my area but ultimately there was no permanent solution and it finally gave up today. I know Xiaomi has a long issue of software and hardware issues, i need to know that won't ever happen to this device if i purchase it.
3). Software updates: I don't really care about software updates, but in the case that i do update it, i need to know that they didn't send out an update that is meant to kill the phone, make the battery life worse or make it lag more. Once i updated to Android 14 on my former phone, the battery life was hell. I need confirmation that this would not happen on this device and if it already has, please inform me in the reply so i know not to update it if get it.
That's basically it. Also i would like to know how this fairs against the 13 pro +. Tell me the which is better overall (p.s cameras would never be a reason i consider a phone so don't use that as a deciding factor)
Incase anyone is wondering what my previous phone was, it is TECNO CAMON 20 PRO 5G. Please do not ever consider that phone no matter how low your budget gets, there's always a better option.

I've had the Redmi Note 13 Pro for about a year now. It's great. It takes nice pictures, decent video, works fine with social media, it's good enough for occasional gaming. And it now has Hyper OS 2.0 and still works fine. Best phone under $300 from 2024!
