RQ2, 02 Feb 2025Should I buy the Redmi note 13 pro plus 5g rn? I'm talking about the 8/256 version for 250€Don't go for it, the phone is slow in responding calls, the camera gets slower if IS is on.
The camera is not that good, lots of distortions in photos, especially you capture tall items (cranes, buildings). The images are not realistic, the images are being re-created with AI, but colourful. When HDR is on, the contrast balance is not that good.
I am comparing the Redmi 13Pro+ against my previous Huawei Nova 3i.

As some comments said Xiao... morewhat?? don't judge this phone if you didn't buy. use your rubbish samsung phone. this phone has one of the best chipset. for this price u can't buy samsung phones with this chipset. and the durability ip68,corning gorilla glass victus, 4k camera quality. curved display is one of the best part. 4 years update. And the design is most best part. examle one phone for this price

Never buy this device. Don't buy new note 14 pro plus as well. As some comments said Xiaomi seems doing paid reviews. Other wise no one will recommend this broken phone with battery issues, heat issues, bad cameras, of course less updates than Samsung.

I have owned this phone 3 times now, I have only gotten rid because of a new shiny phone coming around. This has to be my favourite phone EVER. The camera is second to none, it has a great solid feel, the charging is just out of this world and it is fast with BAGS of storage. If you are considering this, then don't think any further - get one. Xiaomi have them at the best price, Amazon and Argos have increased the price recently too. Make sure also that you compare the 512gb variant as some are offering the 256gb at a similar, but higher, price.

Bought this phone recently new for 220€. What can I say, great feeling phone with amazing screen, good performance and stellar camera. I was just looking for good screen phone, instead I got an amazing camera, 5G, 120W charging. Performance is enough, only tried genshin for 5 mins with max settings and was hovering around 40, 60 in some cases. Thank god I bought it, looking at note 14 pro plus is on par. Battery is ok, I use 33W charger which is more than enough for me, only downside is miui. And with the cpu inside, there is literally no custom rom, not even gsi. I only bought xiaomis for hardware, wait 2 weeks and then really start using the phone with clean android, here sadly I cannot.
