Apple had it for years!!! Why the Distaste now??
they instead don't muck about actual issues like absence of functionality like No headphone jack in phones & just pass a sly "ah shrugs" to that!
just like how manufacturers are running out of ideas for innovation,reviewers are Right behind them in how to Review in a way that Makes sense!

the phone finally got an update, accurately hyperos update with android 14
it does improve the phone performance , 15% more smooth than the miui , (tested it with genshin impact high graphics without and with performance mode) the only issue is the temperature, but that's normal while playing genshin, just lower the graphics and it would be fine
-for the battery life, i haven't notice any changes, it still as good as before
btw i just bought this phone 3 months ago and it really exceed my expectations
i believe this phone could be use for more than 4 years

Being in an off state (which means no photons are emitted) is considered 100% off so to speak, in other words its black level is 0. Actually black holes contain a lot of photons, it's just due to its insane amount of gtavity photons are "spiraling there" so to speak. I would say the black level of a black hole is actually quite high, just can't measure it from the outside 😅

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2024Doesn't change the fact that oled burns and pwm is a PITA. Just a quick question, does PWM affect the frame rate of a phone the lower the brightness level is set, by that I mean if at 20% brightness the amoled turns off the display 80% of the time to simulate a lower brightness level then on a 120hz screen (120 frames a second) some of those frames must fall within the pwm off cycle surely .
It's just I find amoled frame rate look odd the lower I put the brightness but on an lcd it doesn't.

Hello Moto, 02 Sep 2023But there is still no such thing as infinite contrast ration in an LCD, Oled is far superier i... moreInfinite is relative, on some oled smartphone (sonys for one) the screens look dark grey when turned off, the Bezel surrounding the phone is darker black than the screens themselves , infinite blacks would have to escape all light, so unless your using your smartphone in a black hole nothing is infinite just off, and isn't that the elephant in the corner, amoleds claim to fame is the fact your really just looking at a turned off screen .
