Y the Battery timing is to low.
Please reply me if anyone have facing this problem.
I have two issues with this phone. First, when I make photos with macro camera with flash on, flashlight flashes and the photo is taken after that short flash what produces very dark and yellowish unusable photos (basically with no light), while with my old Redmi 9T that flashlight is longer and photo is taken during that flash, and it produces very bright and recognizable photos. Does anybody has same issues, with 12S, is it known?
Second, this phone has AMOLED display, the screen is clear and crisp but I have feeling that it is very dark, just on maximum or near to maximum the screen is bright and pleasant for an eye. IPS LCD on Redmi 9T was somehow brighter on lower setting. I´m somehow disappointed.

The crazy thing is that it wasn't apparently present in the redmi note 11s, so why tf would they bring it back in the 12S ????? Absolutely ridiculous. Just goes to show how much xiaomi doesn't really care about this release.
Enable the developer settings and look for the ''disable hardware overlays'' option and enable it and then do the same procedure I told you before. The phone uses software overlays to play the video and the difference in quality is very noticeable and most importantly...better.

Select the 1080p option and then as you are watching the video, pause it and then pinch with your fingers and zoom into the video and look closely if you will notice a change in the detail quality on the video. If an animal appeared on the video for example, pause the video and zoom past 3x and zoom back. Just look closely if you notice any change in the details. As you zoom in that oversharpening and contrast filter goes away but when you zoom back it comes back. I hope I made things clear.

As a replacement for Redmi Note 9 pro I'm really very happy with this phone. Only problem is Android Auto doesn't work right now, but it's common problem of MIUI 14 devices. Also sms messaging confused with RCS. That's a real mess, but again not linked just to this phone.

Very good cell phone. Lots of space (256 GB ROM, 8GB RAM), amazing 108 MPX CAMERA gives you a great pictures. For about 200 euros for me it is BESTBUY

They think we are too poor to be paying wirelessly so why bother including it lmao. And as for the poor image quality, that's a dumb "feature" that comes with mediatek processors... It's called "miravision". It applies some garbage filter whenever a video is being played on the screen. It give the video an ugly contrasty, oversharpened and over processed look which is so ugly and hard to look at... None of the reviewers mentioned this on youtube, otherwise I would have looked into other phones... my old galaxy M20 with a pls lcd displays vids better than this with phone with a damn amoled. I have managed to disable it by disabling the hardware overlays in the developer settings and now the videos look sooo good, but google says that might lead to more battery drainage, I haven't really noticed a difference yet. Plus "android system" seems to be draining the battery for no reason anyways before i have even made the change. This is my first xiaomi phone and I'm really feeling the MIUI experience right now lmao horride battery life optimization. Don't get me wrong tho it still lasts 10 hours with some heavy use.
Apparently miravision present on every xiaomi phone that uses the mediatek G chip.

I'll repeat this once again... IF YOUR PHONE IS STILL RUNNING GREAT AND YOU ARE NOT IN AN IMMEDIATE NEED FOR AN UPGRADE, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE !
