It's only common knowledge if you've been around phone tech for a while. Understand that some people are coming from a place where there's only been 2 options, Apple or Samsung. While it's true that the original poster should have done some research, I think it's uncalled for to say that they are "just a bad and selfish person that is not smart enough to do any research before purchasing a product." Not everyone knows as much as you know, and you can be a lot more helpful when you stop seeing others as stupid and arrogant.

It's common knowledge that chinese phones from mainland China will obviously have chinese rom with no google play services. Instead of the company being a bad company, your just a bad and selfish person that is not smart enough to do any research before purchasing a product. Typa person to blame the company for the service YOU purchased.

This phone is shit. All chinese writing on it. the ROM is somewhat a Chinese chip and cannot be changed. So you go to China and you purchase the phone that the guys in the Xiaomi shop recommends but does not tell you that you cannot get rid of the Chinese writing at all. There is no Global ROM file to flash the unit. Now I sit with a Redmi K70Pro and its really useless to me. Will never support this brand again.

K70 Pro 12/256gb At first week, battery still adjusting hence the battery drains and heats a little. (1.0.21.0) new update, I already cleared system cache after every update. Forgot which update fixed the delay notifications but this phone charges very fast and stays charge better than my s22ultra. K70 12min charge VS s22u 1hour charge, I only use the s22u to browse and yet it loses charge very quickly unlike the k70 pro which I even use as a Hotspot doesn't lose charge that much. BTW I turned off 5g battery saver in battery and it made my 5g connection better, I didn't find any difference on battery life even I use wqhd+ and adaptive refresh.
If you have trouble from frame lock, go to game booster and adjust slider to 120hz and then settings - apps - click 3 dot icon on top right show all apps - search for battery and performance - clear data (only do this after you open the game). Don't forget to turn on adaptive refresh in settings display.
Other method is turn on battery saver before you open game and then turn off after you load the game.
Hope this helps a fellow user of redmi devices. Don't try to delete battery and performance in adb since it's part of the system.

It would be immensely disappointing to learn that this k70 pro still uses usb 2.0 😭. Anyone who tested it?

redmi has great value smartphones like the Turbo 3. I just wish them to increase display sizes and support bypass charging

Junny, 28 Aug 2024No. USB C type 2 can't transfer video.With Miracast type cables, you can project the Video (only) thru wires. Of course, audio doesn't work. But you can project videos with wires if you use the correct one.

There is option to enable Wireless Display if I am not mistaken. So, that would be some kind of alternative to cable transfer.
