Had to take it to a technician two times for a battery repair and PMIC problem and still working after 5 years. This phone served me well.

My bottom word for this one, or don't remember if was 9A, is that it resisted heavy impacts many times. For that reason on that matter I have to tell has a great build and very resistant

I've been using a Redmi 9 (4GB 64GB) phone since 2020 and still using the device as my Primary Mobile Device. I haven't did a factory reset to the device until now. The device works really well. I feel this device is still better than newer models. Only issue I encounter was the vibrator motor stopped working and sometimes the System UI gets crashed. A quick restart will fix that. Without a doubt, this is one of the coolest and reliable device I've used so far.
I rate the Xiaomi Redmi 9 Device with 5/5 Stars. Anyone can still buy and use this product for their day-to-day activities.

Had one of these brand new in 2021, it worked just fine, photos were quite decent with good sunlight, night and selfie were not so good. Battery was good enough for the day, and even not a gaming phone I remember having fun with it.

After the last official update miui 13 and too many bugs, i fully formated my phone and trust me, the phone will be too much faster, without bugs and the battery charge level will be faster, like new.

Having this phone since 2021, for my experience it was the best in back that day, because of software, miui 11, its well smooth with the ui, theres so many feature than miui 13 because miui 13/12 alot removed feature like split screen, floating windows ( can multitask 5 window more ).

have this phone for around 3 years ,it was great until is started saying "procces system not responding" and "system UI not responding" and it srtuggels a lot on basic tasks like a few times it crashed on chrome but until then it was fine

Great phone for price. I have 64/4 version and it worked perfect until android 12 (A12 was a little bit laggy). After that i unlocked bootloader and flashed custom rom (Lineage OS) with android 13. There's already custom rom with android 15 for this phone, but i really don't need it now. After 4 years battery is still great.

You'll also get stock Android looks, which next to MIUI look ugly, and you'll have to set-up again MIUI-related apps as configuration is lost.

My Redmi 9 is still alive and kicking, still decent battery and 4-5 hours SOT socmed use though I gave it to my father.
