i've used this phone for around 3-4 years before switching to my current phone in 2023. i can say this phone was doing pretty good in the first 2 years of use. but obviously it started to slow down because of the new apps getting bigger to handle and i have to upgrade my phone

This phone is just given to me by my teacher from her son. She stated that it's from her son's old stuffs and not used anymore but it is still working well so she gaved it to me so I can use it on schooling. But after some time, an issue occured. The phone's cell died. It's not charging anymore. we tried to get it fixed and it got fixed of course. After some days again, an issue reoccured. the phone is glitching. It shows that it is charging even the charger isn't plugged to it. And when it is plugged in, it charges super slow. And it's draining the battery super fast. And now, it's literally on 0% and it's not dying for it is glitching and i don't know what to do. Please help.

I have a Redmi 7 since 2019 to 2024 the screen got damaged after four years of use,when I tried getting it fixed today the phone crashed the chip is dead but I'll be going tomorrow to see what I can do because the phone is really good and cheap it's very good strong and durable but I'll ask Redmi 7 or Nokia 2.4 which is more better I'll say if the Redmi 7 has larger storage, stronger and more faster chip set,larger battery I say it could be a flag ship

I have been using this phone for the last 4 years since it was released. The phone though is a chinese variant with a more stable chipset and enhanced security features.better than its global counterpart. The problem is it never allows google apps to be installed and it also has some chinese bloatware apps. I love the phone still because of its durability, its fast processing, battery, and the camera was good for that price at that time I bought. Right now, 2023, I can recommend a redmi 12 pro for a budget phone.

10/10 though the on and off button can't be used after 4 years, it is nice and camera quality good, everything about it is good, about the on and off button, it was fixed

720p display is better than other cheap ones
Glossy 720p display with great touch response
Speaker 3.5mm quality is awesome for this range
memory card is supported,you can put apps on it even
Heavy modding available,qualcomm newer 2019 model 632 but still manages to play limit 720p & colors are vibrant for ips graphics are also good looking,not extreme
use 1080p display with poor weak performing hardware & it will look more choppy than this

Battery life is 4000mah
single speaker
vibrate motor is kinda of loud
base variant is 2gb
It would be an awesome phone with
4gb ram & exynos 1200 or dimensity 720
software for miui is clean,no ads
dual apps support,dual sim
no ip rating
Overall I like this design
