I bought this phone for my sister back in 2020. Works well until now. Specs vs price, this phone was a monster back in 2020. Even now, it can compete performance-wise versus the later released midrange phones.

Even running hard all day will run battery down to about 25%. It's has battery save feature and even has a deep sleep feature to really push save battery mode.

Takes a little bit of reading and research but definitely doable. Good luck.

I just got 12.5.7 and i think it's a power guzzler compared with 12.5.4. Same lightning fast. Minor changes only. Stable also and no issues found.

Good news just checked, 12.5.6 is up for update and its 991MB, This should be enhanced i guess.

One major bug is I cannot access to the camera from lock screen by swiping fro... morecamera works normal here also on 12.5.4 . One bug i noticed is when you swipe down for the menu with the settings to come up or when you unlock the phone and at the same time the auto brightness kicks in the phone becomes laggy for 1-2 secs.
Also recently my phone starts crushing freezing and only way to get it back is power down and volume, force restart.

One major bug is I cannot access to the camera from lock screen by swiping from the corner. It just crashed when I do that.
This bug did not exist on 12.0.

But people should know its a big phone and heavy. battery mediorce. Has only english and chinese for menus, and has issues with notifications.

Anonymous, 06 Jul 2021The phones fine, but my ROM isn't. My China Rom 10x pro 5G will no longer support Google ... moregoogle aps are supported, you need to enable google basics from accounts, after that go to mi apps and update google play, after that the icon playstore is on your phone and you can download all the stuff. All is working but notificatonis push notifications are not working.
One more thing battery life became worse with miui 12.5.2 .
For me the best result i had with this phone is android 10 and miui 12.0.6 , good battery and notfications were working good most of the time.
