Had mine back in 2022, good phone for the price, good performance speed, and decent battery life.
The camera is just mediocre, and overtime with system updates the phone feel slower, over time the photo gallery app took longer to load or view photos or videos, to the point I had to use Googles photo gallery app.
After around 2 years plus of use, the side mounted finger print scanner stopped working, then the button itself eventually got damaged and it sunk in t and was much harder to reach and press.
Sadly after around 4 years of use, it's battery started to bloat and it's battery life was severely affected.

2 years on still going strong. For entry level phone, the network reception is great. Easily getting around 300Mbps down with my telco. But, im not sure about the HiRes audio thing.

I'd say it's pretty decent for light use (the 64gb 4gb RAM) it's still smooth considering there's like 7 more apps installed here. The camera is alright, smooth but gets the job done. Installed Mobile legends recently and it really drains the batter very fast and it experiences lags often but if you give it some time it'll go away. Not a gaming phone more like a work and light social media phone.

Not recommended to update it to miui 14 it will just ruined your phone because i update it my phone just start non stop overheating and because of non stop overheating my phone got horizontal line on my lcd and as a gamer my phone just very laggy when i update it i hope they fixes this

I've had this phone for a year, I bought it preloved it's such a shame that it broke down after a year of use, would like to get the same unit again but in white and in expanded storage. Admittedly it wasn't the perfect phone for someone going through high-school but it was enough for someone to get through. Brings back a lot of memories.

I've been using the slow motion tab for capturing smooth videos for a while now and I'm enjoying it. 3rd party social media apps like Facebook and Messenger won't show your video as slowed/slow motion, just a normal video with 60fps.

I don't know if someone had figured this out. You know that Helio G88 can take 1080p 60fps but Redmi 10 limits it's power. And all this time i take videos with 30fps which is so bad. But lately, I've figured out that i can take 60fps video, unfortunately it's just 720p max. So to do this, you need to take a video using the "slow-motion mode". The slow motion video is on 720p 60 fps. If you open it on Stock Gallery app, it's slows the video. But if you open it on any third party gallery apps like Google Photos, it plays the video normally and at 60fps. I don't know if this can help you guys but it helped me captured good videos, in 60fps. It's just sad that it's only in 720p but still okay because it's 60fps, better than 30 lol. So yeah, that's all.

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2024I managed to get hold of one (4/128) running Android 13 (?) and MIUI 14 with the last patch an... more90hz is nice but i rarely see it go up to 90hz when playing games so its kind of useless.
