and again folks complains about no OLEDs display.. i am happy Xiaomi did IPS here. for me, this phone is as close to ideal as it can get:
*IPS display AND 120 Hz? double tick. (not a pesky OLED which are everywhere nowadays with their eyeaching PWM and burn-in issues)
*reasonably fast SoC with strong GPU? tick. (not something like SD 732 or 750 or even 765 which have fast enough CPU but 2-3 times slower GPU)
*Gorilla Glass 6 with metal frame AND plastic back? tick. (no fragile slippery glass back which doubles your chances to shatter because phones drop no matter what)
*LPDDR5 RAM aAand UFS 3.1 ? double tick!
*dual speakers AND 3'5 jack? yey! tick.
*big battery? tick.
*last but not least.. reasonable price? tick so far but we will see international price.
bravo Xiaomi.

I wonder why qualcomm still make/rebrand 4G chipset in their flagship chipset? I mean if they make it for entry level or mid level, it's okay, but it's flagship lol

very sad there are none smaller midrange phone since 2020. I dont mid large phone though but 20:9 tall display ratio is really bad and waste since 90% of all time i only watches 16:9 videos. I rather have 155mm x 75mm than than 163mm x 76mm dimension...

Nowadays 7xx series is reasonably fast if you are not excessive gamers. 750g got almost 400k on AnTuTu and have 5g. So it's more future proof. And there is competitor like MTK dimensity which is even faster and supposedly cheaper. No absolute need for a NEW phone with 4g sd 8xx these day and this poco x3 nfc is worsen by the fact it is downgrade from x3 nfc except the soc. Bad design bad color just oh my it's not my choice.

Disappointed. Would be better if it released with sd 750g and Amoled display. This 860 soc is the only upgrade over x3 nfc. Everything else in it is downgrade. Even the design , and color choice.. really phantom black? Frost blue? And metal bronze BOO! Just MEH for me. how can they use purple ish color grading like that and called it black 🤣. I'm confused.
