The only thing that would make these guys stop is if they made a Poco X3 NFC pro variant with all upgraded features for nearly $350 USD. With all being said I appreciate the snapdragon 860, perhaps that's the only good about this phone... Well I'm gonna look forward for the next line up of xiaomi's great phones, for now I'm betting on mi10T pro

The only phone that can hold and an actual "Pro" for Professional and being used for Professional Work is the Sony Xperia Pro. they should named this Poco X3 EX or Poco X3 +
every Pro the attached to the phone name is just a gimmick.
really good if you like gaming instead of shooting pictures.

jeez man, you are so ... morei can answer your statement here:
1. X3 Pro has metal frame instead of plastic (no , it's the same as before metal INSIDE but pretty much covered in plastic, so you can't feel "cold" holding the frame. It's a marketing trick. It's same use by google pixel 5 i think they call it metal phone while it can have wireless charging and Jerryrigeverything make it clear that is actually almost plastic phone because the metal in INSIDE the phone not outside. So it's clear now the poco x3 pro frame is plastic.
2. X3 Pro has Gorilla Glass 6 vs 5 on X3
Why would i need that extra protection if the back is plastic? Lame. Consider Redmi note 10 have glass back.
3. SoC is much faster.
That's is the only important upgrade i think.
4.no 64 sony camera.
So X3 Pro is actually ALTERNATE VERSION not pro of the NFC version. None is better.
About gpu, i'm not a excessive gamer so I can't say much. If this Phone if everything you need go buy one man. I skip this one. I'm indeed isappointed about this phone and redmi note 10 pro. They messed it up.
This is very hard years so should considering any advantage and drawbacks when buying a phone, or you ended up selling the phone in the next 6 month. By that time poco x4 will come and so x4 pro, with 5g. And so on...

I have to add: this phone really make me disappointed.
1.same design as before, everything downgrade except for the phone.
2.strange color choice. Usually on a PRO model you'll get anything better. Better design. Better color, better everything. This is Just not.
PHANTOM BLACK (cool name but it is GREY poco not black at all is even purple ish, i miss really black color on phone, now only flagship have this simple color, samsung galaxy s21 ultra, Oppo find x 3 pro, poco f3(redmi k40). FROST BLUE... Again it's grey gradient, not COOL. What it the world is METAL BRONZE??? lol. It's plastic anyway.
3. No amoled display. Having seen redmi note 10 series use Amoled even 120hz. Make me sceptical about poco x3 pro. Then my doubt is answered. It's lcd again. Who is really need 120hz LCD???? I don't mind 90 or even 60hz so they can put more effort for build quality.
Xiaomi doing bad choice for it's GLOBAL midranger:
they actually can put 60hz samoled on redmi note 10 pro to reduce cost so they can give it better 5g chipset like sd 750g or dimensity 820. Instead they use go high to 120hz Amoled display. But nerf it somehow with last year chipset. And now.. POCO X3 pro do have fast soc. But lack any premium feels in it. At least put Amoled in it just 60hz is FINE.

jeez man, you are so annoyed at this phone you don't see obvious things!
X3 NFC can not be better than X3 Pro because they are nearly twins, but:
1. X3 Pro has metal frame instead of plastic
2. X3 Pro has Gorilla Glass 6 vs 5 on X3
3. SoC is much faster.
So X3 Pro is better than X3 NFC.

no, it's not. just like with x86 desktops, GPU takes all the load in graphically intensive games, CPU does very little here. so if you want high graphic settings AND smooth FPS you need fast GPU, CPU alone will do nothing here.

Would like to see these 20:9 phone shrink to just at least 6.4 inch. Some brand already done it. But Xioami POCO just crazily increase their screen bigger every year. Maybe next year it will be 7.0 inch not 6.9 anymore. Oh my.

For me It phone like this just don't work anymore.
I've used with flagship build quality phone.
If I want to upgrade my phone, definitely not this. The back cover is same as x3 nfc andd... There is "sound" when you press the plastic back cover meaning there is "empty space" that make it feels cheap. Even the volume rocker is very cheap although is clicky.
The color just ridiculous and laughable. X3 nfc just better in almost every way (EXCEPT THE CHIPSET).
About the gpu, what it is actually do is Enhance the game grapich wheter to add effects or make it more hdr more high definition not boost the game Performance. Only the cpu it is. 2.3 ghz on 732 g and equivalent should enough to handle most games AT LEAST FOR NOW.

It's a proper brick this one. Over 165mm and 215grams it's hugeee. I would rather carry small and light phone and 8inch tablet when needed for gaming. Why gaming on small inch phone and draining battery and life of phone when you can do same on bigger screen tablet... Its so dumb..

It is so heavy with weight 215g, it would be better if only below 200g for phones

If you ... more"minor perfomance boost"?? get your math straight dude, adreno 640 is 2.5 faster than adreno 618, in other words, you pay 50 € extra over Poco X3 with SD 732 and you gain 2.5 faster GPU not to mention CPU itself is 30-40% faster. what's wrong with you people? just stay away from this phone and let it be bought by those who actually appreciate it)

Could be the best selling ... moreMaybe who knows? Here in Indonesia phone like this just out of stock immediately.
And the phone is actually not that great, only chipset is dominant. There is many capable mid-range yet to come in the future. For me I don't want to invest in this kind of phone. Such a rush they even not bother to give it different design. Just recoloring x3 nfc with more ridiculous colors and slap PRO on it. Nope.
