I've had this phone since 2021. My battery lasts lasts 11-13 hours in normal usage at home. Like YouTube, WhatsApp, Messenger & streaming.

Anonymous, 25 Apr 2025come on, you already managed to use for 4.5 yrs for a phone with this kind of cheap price.I use it now, in my opinion if you will only rely on cameras or daily activities and also light games are still good ... if you can buy the latest series

Mine also got itself pregnant after a couple of years (2 or 3).
Still if you can find the battery online, you can replace it by yourself cheap.

bought mid apr 2021. i upgraded from asus max pro m1. my only problem is the scarcity of replacement parts in my area (lcd, body, buttons, etc)

The best long term smartphone i've had. I can't believe this phone could last this long, i bought this when it was released and i was expecting this phone to turn into a laggy mess after 3 years ( i was using a samsung galaxy A7 2017 before changing to this and that phone lagged when i tried to open whatsapp after the first year). The battery is now a bit bloated and the back plastic cover is full of scuffs and scratches but the essentials still works. I could play PUBG no problem though i mostly only got like 45 fps, the camera is still pretty good with a Gcam app, and the most important thing is that it never failed on me (unlike that samsung. Yes i genuinely hate samsung with their exynos chipset). Sure it has some "personality" but the phone just works. Last week the proximity sensor just died (literally can't get a read on it. Like it physically died or malfunctioned) and the auto brightness has also stopped working so im going to change to a Poco X7 Pro. Im just hoping that the new phone could surprise me just like how this Poco X3 NFC did.

Battery still very ok, only bugs have increased over the years, and it no longer receives updates.
But would like to switch from Xiaomi, wanted to give Xiaomi a chance with the Poco X3 NFC, that's enough, is too buggy for me on the road.
I'm looking at the Realme Neo 7 SE aka GT7T when it comes to Europe, the specs read very well for the price.

I am using It since 2020 and Its been about 5 years now, battery still very good but only in cold weather It drains faster. I use the 60Hz Display Always so the battery Last longer.
Basically from the Hardware Its very good for instance the Screen, battery, durability, speaker . I am totally satisfied for 250$. But Software after 5 years still have Bugs Like every other Xiaomi Phones or Tablets.

I doubt if it's caused by the fast charger, because I also had swollen battery back in days without using fast charger.

I never used fast charger on my poco x3 nfc. Usually charging over night with regular 1 amp charger. Phone about 4 years old and still has no issues with battery (maybe a little capacity drop, which I think it's normal wear). Do not liked chinese bloatware with tons of ads preloaded, so I turned off any service from there.Overall poco is very good phone for it's price (180 € in 2021)

You will unlikely find custom rom for mediatek device.

It was a good phone but battery got swollen after fewer than 3 yrs of usage.
Then I f*cked the device up while trying to replace battery on my own.

Been using it for 3 years. It's better than new phones in same price in my country.
I do factory reset after every update to avoid bugs and turn off unneeded features from settings to maximise battery & performance.
It's very durable as well. No screen cracks, fall damage, charging port issue, etc.

Then you can try replacing battery yourself, just be extra gentle when you open the cover & handle the cables.
Or xiaomi shop near you may replace battery for you, but it will cost more.
