My F5 is refusing to restart lately. I must make several attempts to reboot it. When I connect the charger and come back after an hour, the battery is still at 0. Sometimes the rebooting goes into endless loop. Anyone any thoughts?

Freefaller, 07 Oct 2025HyperOS 3 is unlikely because it never even received HyperOS 2 (at least not in the UK).I have HyberOS 2 for a long time and im in Baltics with European ROM
HyberOS 3.0 is to be released with Android 15 so the hope to get Android 16 is crushed now

bought a used one for 210, the gaming performance was actually amazing, it doesn't even heats up a lot when I play delta force with the available maxed settings, even on Asphalt legends max graphics and 90 fps, it's not even heating, it's just around 38c, on mobile legends it was on ultra and it's very smooth without much frame drop and stutter, the only downside was the sound quality, it was mediocre, my Redmi note 8 pro has a better bass quality compared to it but hey, it's a phone with 7+ gen 2, I ain't complaining much about it.

Sergio, 26 Sep 2025Truly a fantastic phone. I've had it for 2 years - consistent performance, very good batt... moreIt's price is now same as Poco X6 Pro at 200 euro but i would take the x6 Pro over F5 at the 200 euro price for the part that the X6 Pro have better specs.
To take F5 is only cause of the 3.5mm jack as the only part that is better
While X6 Pro come with A14 and it ends with A17 where as F5 will probably have the HyberOS 3.0 as last update with A16 on it. Maybe get HyberOS 4.0 but then based on Android 16 but dont hope for it.

I seen a video that talk about HyberOS 3.0 for Poco F5 as a beta tester that the 3.0 will be coming on global version in first 3 months of the year 2026 and it will be on Android 16
So it's a good surprise that the F5 will get it's 3rd OS update that i didnt even expect when i got the F5 over 2 years ago.

Truly a fantastic phone. I've had it for 2 years - consistent performance, very good battery life (almost the same as when I bought it), it handles any apps with ease and a surprising speed, great display, very good cameras - simply the best overall package I've ever seen in a non-flagship phone. And HyperOS 3 is coming in the beginning of 2026, to make thing even better. Highly recommended, even now.

After 1 year of use I am still in love with it.
Very fast processor for my needs.
Fingerprint scanner in power button is simply god send and very natural to use.
Macro camera is very helpful if you want to read small text on something or shoot tiny things and overall camera block very slim, not sticking too much like many phones nowadays.
