Last night, update 14.0.4.0 with September 2023 security patch arrived for Malaysians, any Malaysian has updated it?
Overheating problem and sudden boot, sometimes bootloop
do not update it, it will cause bootloop or your phone will become slow.
do not charge after using, let it cool down to prevent overheating that causes board issues

This is a great phone overall, love the quad speakers.
Might have to get one myself.
2 months, so far so good. Adb'd the heck out of it and optimized it as much as possible to get rid of the heat issue. Still on MIUI 13, wont update any time soon lol.
Unfortunately mine arrived with a dead semi-circle on the side when bought brand new, its extremely annoying to have a small dot sitting on your screen

Screen blacked out 2 weeks after purchase
Mine only lasted for a year, after the warranty my device broke (black screen), dont want to spend more money on this cheap product

Hi guys I'm in the UK I have had my Poco f4 GT for about a week now and am loving using it however I'm on android 12 with November security patch, is anyone on a newer version I've tried downloading the latest version using the three dots but it was still the same version. I've had many Xiaomi devices and always been happy with them. I've checked every day for for updates, I don't have a computer and am not very computer literate so wouldn't know or be able to install the latest version that way, does anyone know a different way to do it
do not update software unless it has still a warranty. the update causes your phone to go "bootloop or deadboot". its like a strategy so you will be forced to buy their new products
Me too got stuck in a boot-loop when updating from MIUI 13 to 14 OTA, 100% original.
I see it's Russian roulette to update Poco phones, it was my first and will be my last Poco. I see the newest Poco F5 Pro comes with a underclocked SD Gen 1+, and it throttles like hell, even with all the flexing with cooling technology/surface. Still stuck on USB 2.0 too.
Cheap Phone but Expensive to repair. You cant just flash the phone unlike other brands. you need to pay to flash the firmware
Gsam, 26 Jun 2023 Flash the original firmware To restore the phone You can’t just flash Xiaomi Phone Unless you have AUTHORIZED XIAOMI ACCOUNT, even the ordinary Xiaomi Account does not work it will only say “Authentication Error”. I’ve tried it myself
DO NOT UPDATE to the Latest Firmware, it will cause deadboot, and one thing, you cant just flash the firmware UNLESS you have AUTHORIZED Mi Account. Mine just got stock on “EDL” 9008 mode, i cant flash by myself because I Do not Have a Xiaomi Authorized Account, just an Ordinary Mi Account
