No it won't, I have multiple phones with no IP rating, used them in the rain before, plenty of times and they are still perfectly fine. The only thing you need for protection are rubber gaskets and almost every phone has those.

If no prot... moreThe best choice is to just be careful and try not to make the phone come in contact with dust and water. IP ratings don't always judge how resistant the phone is to dust and water too.

If no protection is stated, it can't tolerate water or moisture!
Having the phone in your pants pocket, chest pocket or whatever you even wear when going out in the heat, it will get damaged without any protection.
You would know that, if you worked in that area. Either shop or repair shop.
How people can't understand that IP rating means almost NOTHING. First things first IP rating is just a PAID confirmation that phone has sealings based on a number of samples. And even more importantly is that if the water goes trough anyway which happens in huge number of cases warranty still don't cover it.
Should you buy this phone or not that's completely different topic which is not based on IP dilemma.

Clearly it's a robot or just someone acting like one.

That's reality. So stop being a f4nb0y and let the company know that we live in 2023, and not 2010.
You are the user, so you should make the developers hear you.
[deleted post]Nah, you’re the one who can’t see reality. You’re probably just a robot.
Anyway, if you really want every brand to have an IP rating in there, go complain. We’re not arguing with you anymore.
Zendroid, 16 Aug 2023Thank for sharing your interests. Not needed though? Literally zero people agree with your comments. So, guess whose "interests" are really not needed.
Zendroid, 16 Aug 2023Thank for sharing your interests. Not needed though? You know what's also not needed? Your comment. Every foldable should be able to resist some water, just without an IP rating which makes you think ‘no weather sealing’
