What a disappointment. Lots of hype but end up being ANOTHER China exclusive.
And this phone in itself is another disappointment.
1. MIUI needs a big overhaul
2. No feature like Flex Mode to make use of the form factor
3. Phone is too big
4. More cameras but takes rather crappy pictures

It seems the Mix Fold 3 has the best currently battery life for a foldable right now. They did well. Let see if the Magic V2 5000mAh battery can stand up to this.

This foldable phone can withstand water despite the fact that it doesn't have an official IP rating, however it being a phone meant for the chinese market, it has some notification delay, but that is an easy fix, if Xiaomi wants to fix it.

Tandy, 17 Aug 2023Today, it is unthinkable that a phone doesn't have eSIM.Not surprising. this phone is meant for the China market. eSim is not easy to get in China, compared to other countries. Of course given that this is a China release, not global they would not have eSim.

Yeah, that really seems like accepting my opinion, I'm sure you weren't sarcastic.

I do understand it, I just don't agree with it. If said phone has an IP rating some may dare to go into a pool or the sea with it and a simple IP68 (or below) rating or rubber gaskets won't protect against these two cases. So, naturally said people would take their phone back and expect the water damage to be covered under warranty, which it won't be. No issues like that, with no IP rating, you simply wouldn't dare to take your phone in the pool or sea water and even if it still somehow gets water damaged you still wouldn't expect it to be covered under warranty.

There are many people not satisfated with MIUI software, but then again there are plenty of them who like it or don't mind some things. So who's right in that case?
Well, everyone! Because we just want and choose things according to our past experience and we all have a right to say the concerns or criticsm here. Where else? Directly to phone brand? C'mon you guys... You can't accept there are different people with different experience from yours or a few the most vocal commentators here.
I don't need a freaking 3.5mm jack becase i'm not using my phone for listening to music or watching videos, but i do need an SD memory card because it's so easy to swap between the rest of smart gadgets i use such as camera.
Also, i had a bad experience with phones without any IP ratings as some of them failed to recognize touches on screen jsut because of my sweatie hands and sometimes the phone was refusing to charge and didn't even been any close to the watter. All that can be avoided in MY opinion with IP rating which in MY opinion and from MY OWN experience it means a lot to ME.
Can you or can you not accept my opinion? I am accpeting yours. It doesn't matter if i agree with it or not. Whatever you answer it won't change my mind and the vice versa, but i'm very open to read about your experience.

What i didn't get with this Chinese manufacturers they still give us crappy front camera 1080p resolution. Do they don't care about front camera or something else? Any opinions?

Rest would buy xiaomi.
