I want to change a new phone after 6 years. But this one still working except volume buttons are soft and need to press harder. It is really hard to find new phone like this one in 2023
Still a workhorse, robust and reliable. 6GB RAM gives it fast response even now. Sits well in my pocket.
replaced its battery, but apparently I got a chinese fake.. will replace again, it is simple enough to do at home, just needs to heat the back a bit.
This mi phone is still my daily driver since 6 years ago. Love its dimensions...feels perfect in my hands. Light and slim in the pocket. Just a little bug on its Miui....the flash turns on by itself once in a while. Hope xiaomi fix this problem. And also it would be awesome if xiaomi had release a newer OS for this phone.
Still working great after 5 years, low volume on speaker but everything else works great. The only reason I will upgrade is a better camera
I hope Xiaomi can still provide updates to upgrade to Android 10, as more and more apps required Android 10 to install, this phone after 5 years still working fine, will be pity to just let it go
Man This MI Note 3 is a hell of a phone! 5 years ago I bought this phone and still now it's super fast. No issue with the battery and internal speed. But I had to change my back cover due to a break. The aluminum frame is faded and the volume is getting lower, both the speaker and mouthpiece. I bought 64GB rom which hurts me now but 5 years ago 64 GB was huge. I have used this phone very roughly but this phone stands still, Thanks to MI for giving such huge specs, this is a real flagship device.
There isn't a single negative I can point to this phone, the best phone I have ever used, and it's still performing very well after 5 years ..
After Inter 2600k this is one of my most economic purchases ever. I switched to Xiaomi 13 the other day, its a good phone but it has a price to go with it. Mi Note 3 was and still is a hell of a phone. I got a unit with Sharp display, man tbh amoled on Xiaomi 13 really really doesnt do that much better. It is def better but by a thin margin.
RioChandra, 14 Feb 2023Hey, I'm here to say that I've been (proudly) using this phone since 2018. :)Same here, phone works flawlessly after 5 full years! Best purchase in my life, masterpiece device from Xiaomi!

I've also been using mine for close to 5 years and I feel that the phone has done its time although it works perfectly.
Battery draining so quickly
my battery needs replacement, where can i buy?
I have been using this phone for 5 years and really love it. It accidentally fell into water twice now and still back to life. But it's time to replace as the back cover is broken after it was thrown by the kid a few times. Phone gets heated while running maps for long time. Can someone suggest a newer phone close to this model coz this phone really fit me well. Hoping to buy a latest one which has all the features this one had.
