Retiring it after 5 years of use. I must say it exceeded every expectation I had. The camera quality is excellent, even nowadays. Changing it, because I had a good offer for xiaomi 15t pro.

zekko, 16 Aug 2025yeah if you shoot in good lightning you will get great detail even in this year and the 5 time... moreI can't talk about the telephotos but after having taken several hundreds of photos if not even more, the main camera is really good, as much at least as the one in the Note 10 Pro, and the ultrawide is also very decent especially next to the standard 8MP ones used by so many Xiaomis. With Google Camera, picture quality is still better.
Save for the SoC that is meh by 2025 standards, the lack of microSD, and of course no more official support, the phone is worth is costs bought second-hand.

I bought this phone 2 weeks ago and its perfect only the chip but that doest matter the cameras are crazy on this thing i got more optical zoom than the vivo x200 ultra

I saw one sold second-hand quite cheap. How does fare the main camera by 2025 standards, even if the CPU is admittedly meh?
I like the design and to have such array of cameras.

By default our phone gives 27mp!! (4:1 pixel binning) when most phones give 12mp (4:1 on a 50mp sensor). That is for MAIN camera.
This difference is huge!! I ve seen it in real examples comparing our "old" 27mp (from 108) camera to almost ALL new 12mp (from 50). When it comes to detail mi note 10 is still obviously ahead! Don't expect better camera. Only S24/S25 ULTRA with 200mp Samsung sensor camera in 50mp mode (4:1 pixel binning) can outperform mi note 10! In 12mp mode (9:1 binning) mi note 10 is better.

Does anyone have issue with Chrome crashing after using the app for couple of minutes? I tried with uninstalling the app and disabling Webview, but didn't manage to overcome the issue. Apart from that, this phone has been stellar for 4 and a half years.

All are okay, but almost user should have screen problems, like: screen flickering, Light Screen, Black Screen etc. As per the price of this model, i would suggest to move to another one.

I've bought this phone back in early 2020.
The screen started to flash bright white at low brightness in late 2023. The screen completely broke in early 2024 as when I turn the screen on, it displays complete mess of rainbow pattern.
I'd say it was a good value phone for 4 years of usage. I could've repair the screen in official Xiaomi store but I've decided to buy a new phone because it wasn't worth the cost (considering it doesn't get any more updates and of course the battery charge cycle wasn't brand new).

Phone is great. First time for me to buy a top of the line phone in years with great specs. This phone takes great photos and videos even when zoomed in. I've been using this for 4 years now and planning to retire it in a years time when I buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus Ultra Max. 😆😆😆

bought 2nd hand almost new. its 5th year now. working great. amazing battery life, amazing screen quality. solid build. i even dropped mine in bucket of water took me few seconds but no issue whatso ever. i opened the back to change cracked camera glass( my daughter hit it on table - camera end ) and built quality is amazing.
