I've been owning this phone for 4 years now . I've played Fortnite, COD, PubG, LOL, Mlbb, Genshin, n many other games , having 4 of these at once, not mentioning other social apps such as IG, n this phone never disappoints. After using it for more than 3 years it started to slow down noticeably. Overall, Great camera, great performance, great durability , beautiful design. I'm in love with this phone.

mix 2s randomly died overnight anyone experienced this? when woke up, phone was on MIUI boot logo, must have rebooted itself overnight and stuck there, it powered off but wont power back on at all

Downsides: Heavy. Very slippery. Generally hard to handle. The back camera glass came off after a few weeks of use, but it didn't affect photo quality.
Pros: Good custom rom support. Works great even today. No problem with battery. Has everything that I need.
The worst part about this phone? There is no alternative today. This is the best phone in terms of price/performance even in 2021. Everything else is either worse quality, worse ROM support, worse hardware, significantly more expensive or LARGER. There are almost no decent phones at this size on the market.

I really have to agree with these comments above. I've had the phone since Oct 2018 - It is a CHAMP. Battery still performs quite well, still snappy, really no issues thus far! (Aug 2021)

All specs I found on websites like this one here say that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S can capture videos with 4k/30fps - - but in real it is able to make 4k/60fps videos without any problem. Maybe there was an early update in the MIUI to achieve this, but it works since 3 years and all websites are wrong =O

I have been using Mix2s for almost 3 years.
I can say is amazing phone and is better if you install a Custom ROM.
The performance is WOW.
I don't care the 5mpx Face CAM.

Almost 1 year in use , purchased in early July last year during flash sales . The phone have been dropped a few times , even had water splashed on it by someone . Well , it's still working like new , true flagship quality .

Body width is just right. lol 74.9mm is standard these days (in fact narrow for typing) everyone wants to complain about something.

The battery is so poor. 3400mah does not make a long duration as others do.
And the body is too wide to hold.
Apart from these, mix2s has a decent length which is 150mm, a still powerful soc sd845 in 2021, a beautiful and eye-protective LCD complete screen without ugly punchholes. This phone, I think, can last at least two more years till it's completely broken out of date.
