Battery should be changed. When newly changed, it delivers a day, no problem.
Better to change os to miui.eu, very clean.

2025, still using it. Special Edition Ceramic Unibody.
Custom Rom = Miui.EU (android 9)
Excellent Battery Life, all day usage. (Newly Replaced)
Camera Still ok-ish. Everything else works perfectly.
May use this till it dies.

This phone as old as it is , still very smart even more than most of the recent ones. If not for some features needed I wouldn't have been thinking of upgrade. I'm gonna hand this mix 2 to my daughter

How to update from miui 8.5 to miui11 . OS is naugat 7.1.1. The phone is just bought online October 2023.

This phone is quite something. Install lineageOS 20 and LMC 8.4 gcam and it's like a new phone again. Surprising how bad the old stock MIUI holds the hardware back in 2023, with LOS20 it can easily be used another 2yrs, by then maybe need a battery replacement but so far still getting 6hr SOT easy

Second smart phone I've owned and it's fantastic! I was using this phone on Cricket wireless until they made all the network changes in the US. I still have this phone as a backup for wifi use only and it's always refreshing to go back and use, the premium feel coupled with the rich features is the best.
