I can officially say that my A1 has been retired after being drove over by a tractor. The thing still works and can receive calls, but the lcd is dead. RIP Mi A1 (2017-2025)

I am using this phone Lauching Day's Since 2017. Still its work nice & what can explain about it's Device. Extreme good it is .

KandarLubis, 20 Mar 2024better use A11 Nusantara ProjectNusantara 3.4 is good the only problem that it's so laggy and so many bugs I would rather to choose eol or android 12+ the good side of Nusantara 3.4 that the battery so good when I moved to another rom the battery drain so fast

A fantastic phone that I've been using for several years as my main phone, sadly it's gradually slowing down from a mix of aging, and the newest apps often demanding more, due to higher CPU's becoming more common.
I'll likely be upgrading to a device with a stronger CPU and perhaps more RAM in the future, but this phone with a Custom ROM to ensure that it was up to date security/android wise, has been fantastic, and it'll do well as a backup phone for several more years.
Plus the fact that it's still usable to this day means that I can afford to take my time to decide what phone I want and then wait for a sale to boot.

I had this phone from 2018 to 2021. It ended support on stock Android 9 indeed, and it was not a bad phone at all. The only problem I could say is I was concerned about it's SAR. Highest on a phone I've seen so far. Storage could be an issue for long term usage too, however I had an SD card.

Got a new screen and changed its battery. Unlocked it , got a custom ROM and I am now using it as a backup phone.
No issues and no problems at all.

I don't use the phone daily, it just carries my other 2 chips in case I have to receive calls...
Not a bad phone overall, but if I don't get a new battery, I might have to put it to sleep for good....

I was the first buyer of this phone at local store, in 2017.
Till this day it's working fine. Two days back got Lineage OS 20 installed on it. And it's running absolutely fine.
I am keeping this phone till it is supported.Given up the plan of selling it off.

I love this phone..had the 64 GB version of MI A1 since 2018 with lineage OS installed. Amazing performance and reliability especially since I never cared about mobile gaming. Just remove apps that degrades internal storage such as Facebook and it will basically run forever.
