A lot of finance/bankin... moreI'm on Pixel experience ROM, android version 10, and all my applications (Google wallet, banking apps) are working properly. I just installed the ROM without any root access or magisk.

this phone is still very good. just give it an 8000mah battery and you can disable the thermal. otherwise you have 30 minutes of battery life

Changed the battery, and changed the OS from MIUI to Lineage. Wow.
A lot of finance/banking apps won't work. Wish we can still lock bootloader with Lineage.

PixelExperience ROM really saves this phone from being obsolete. Well, some extra features from MIUI might be unavailable here, but I'm willing to sacrifice that to become more 'lightweight' and smoother performance.

Installed Pixel Experience 11, runs great and this device will get Android 12 custom ROMs just amazing. Also i replaced battery it can now last full day.

Senpai, 29 Oct 2021Is the battery backup good in 2021 of this phone?...how many hours of battery backup for youtu... moreMy acc.battery is almost dead. According to the accurebattery it's 30% healthy but it can supply only ~500 mAh. Anyway, new accumulator is cheap and can be installed at home.

1. Size are little bit smaller for the needs of larger area nowadays.
2. SD820 are still hella monster even on 2021 on supported apps, rendering and performance.
3. Mi5 still have more than meets the eye
4. Even thou mi5 are more than 4 years older technology, you STILL can use it for daily operational at least 3 years more

The point is in ergonomics, 5.15" phones are not too big, and MI 5 is extremely light too, which is important if one use phone for what is invented lol.

I remember when that one came out, I really liked the design. It also was priced like a real „flagship killer“, when OnePlus was already rapidly increasing their prices. Just too bad it didn‘t withstand the Jerry Rig Everything bend test.
