Numerous previous reports claimed that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will feature a 4,700 mAh battery but according to an inside source that has access to an early engineering sample, the unit will actually be 5,000 mAh.
A famous Chinese tipster on Weibo revealed the details saying that the battery is split in two suggesting that some ultra-fast charging is at hand - not that it was ever in doubt. However, he doesn't name his source and just said that the latest engineering sample came with a 5,000 mAh battery. This is even a step up from last year's Mi 10 Ultra.
Earlier reports suggest that the handset will support Xiaomi's blazing-fast 120W wired charging introduced with the Mi 10 Ultra. We hope to learn soon enough as there's still no official date set for the Mi 11 Pro announcement.
