Xiaomi Android

DisplayMate has concluded its tests of the Xiaomi Mi 11 display and found it to be an excellent panel – it got a final score of A+, the highest in the DM ranking system, earning a Very Good or higher rating in almost every tests performed.

The display has close to perfect calibration when running in sRGB or DCI-P3 modes, it t has perfect 100% coverage of those color gamuts in the respective modes. Auto Color tends to boost saturation and contrast to make images pop, while Saturated mode goes above and beyond and reaches 139% sRGB and 111% DCI-P3 coverage.

The Mi 11 panel is very bright too, with High Brightness mode reaching 996 nits at 100% Average Pixel Level (APL, 100% means that the whole screen is showing white). This goes up to 1,221 nits at 50% APL (half the screen is white). The sRGB and DCI-P3 modes top out at 505 nits. The display has excellent legibility even in bright ambient light, also thanks to its low reflectivity.

Colors remain perfectly accurate even when you view the display at an angle – at 30°, the white point shifted a negligible 0.5 JNCD, while the Red color channel deviated to 3.8 JNCD, earning it only a Good rating (the single sub Very Good rating across all tests). At that angle, the display brightness was reduced by only 29% (DM notes that a typical LCD suffers a greater than 50% loss).

All told, the Xiaomi Mi 11 set or matched 13 display performance records in the DisplayMate database. Follow the Source link to read the full review.

Sadly, it may be true. Most of Android companies dgaf about their old/low-end devices after 1-2 years

Those are functionality tests. That's not the purpose of their tests. You misunderstood the purpose of their tests. I was suprised you didn't moan about the lacked of screen power consumption. :-)))
