I'm even using it while charging.. It doesn't hot.. It only hot during gaming which is normal.. If you want gaming buy consoles...
I'm enjoying the phone a lot... The camera is top notch and extreme... Xiaomi really blast this phone with features.. And I on everything, now the the battery last 6hr.. I can't do without the features

Am used Mi 11 Pro and that phone... moreThat shows that you're heavy user... Have been using mine for 2 months now... Not even a little heat from the back..
Remove all the custom ROMs... It will over clock the gpu while playing heavy games...
The only thing I noticed is.. the battery not strong when I push the screen features to extreme, for example the frame rate and other stuffs..

Go for Xiaomi Mi 11 without thinking but have in mind that you might need to replace the battery ! I own both of them (xiaomi mi 11 and 12 Pro) and i'm considering to sell the 12 Pro because of the throttling problem with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Note: Xiaomi Mi 11 will receive HyperOS 2.0 (Android 15) but it will be the last major update...

I'm stuck with my decysion. I want good phone for gameing and good display. And now i have question, what should i get. Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 11/11i or just 10?.all phones in my country are about same price (100-150$). Now i am using poco f3 (with green line) and Motorola edge 5g 2020.

if you still want one check out ColorOS 14.1 for it as it is quiet a bit better smooth but quiet a bit chilly slow, not as it uzsed to be but itz for power saving its in thoes telegram groups you can get it, OPPO softwars prety neat not gonna lie :D

TheDeepOne, 21 Oct 2024Is it good? i also planned on using GELID as its thicker than mx4, i also wanted to add more c... morewell gelids fine there, prolly gets hotter cuz it transfers heatm ore efficiently especially atz the top when the phone was hot everyhwere before and its fine like 20% betty standby n stuff on that battery the new one, as soon as you use it its more like 120% sadly the Snap888 draws sometimes tripple the amount of other phones so it is to be expected :)

Dss79, 04 Jan 2025Green line on screen after 2yrs. Replacement screen very expensivethey all pretty expensy its a small 1440p oled 120hz display, i mean look at NON oled TVs they 500,- etc so yeah no wonder, they ALL expensy even sor some like a Galaxy Note 10+

Anonymous, 25 Dec 2024How's the battery with the romfiiiinee, ish, but you should always be rooting it and install some magisk modules like STRP Batery Safer and one of thoes Snapdragon Conversions from XDA to be on the safer side, or use it as a secondary phone cuz it aint give ya a full day of batterylife, not even half a day is realy possible if youre usign it as a power user, theres no way no matter what you do at the end of the day the Snapdragon 888 should be constantly plugged into the wall and not even be in a phone ^_^ the performance is AWESOME sure but not for long and its a VERY hot phone too so replace the thermalpaste on it :)
