Xiaomi launches entry-level Redmi 10A smartphone in India

The Redmi 10A features a 6.53-inch, 1600x720 resolution IPS LCD with 400 nits brightness. It runs on an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 chipset with 3GB or 4GB of memory and 32GB or 64GB of expandable storage. On the software front, the phone comes with MIUI 12.5 out of the box.

Despite the cluster of circles on the back, the Redmi 10A has just a single 13MP f2.2 rear camera. On the front is a 5MP selfie camera.

In terms of connectivity, the Redmi 10A features 4G LTE, 2.4G Wi-Fi 802.11n, and Bluetooth 5.0. You also get microUSB wired connection for data and charging.

Speaking of charging, the Redmi 10A includes a large 5000mAh battery. However, there is no fast charging support, so you get a standard 10W charger in the box.

The Redmi 10A is priced at INR 8499 for the 3GB+32GB and INR 9499 for the 4GB+64GB model. It will be available in three colors, Charcoal Black, Sea Blue, and Slate Gray. The phone will go on sale April 26.

There are quite a lot of options... Samsung, Nokia, Redmi, LG and a lot more companies still make sub-6 inchers which are compact and handy.
