Xiaomi Smart wearables Accessories Announcement

Xiaomi held its first big event of the year today, where we got the global release of its Redmi Buds 6 series, Watch 5 and two new powerbanks.

Redmi Buds 6 feature dual drivers with 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers and 5.5mm piezoelectric tweeters. They pair over Bluetooth 5.4 and support dual-device pairing.

You also get active noise cancellation (ANC) and 360 spatial audio with adjustable EQ profiles inside the Xiaomi Headphones app. Battery life from the buds and their case is rated at 42 hours. Redmi Buds 6 come in White, Black, and Cyan colors and are priced at €40.

Redmi Buds 6 Pro are a tad more at €75 and feature 11 mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers paired with 6.7mm piezoelectric ceramic drivers. They bring better ANC which is rated to drown out up to 55dB of noise around you and support the LHDC 5.0 and LC3 audio codecs. Battery life from the Buds 6 Pro and their case is rated at up to 36 hours.

Redmi Watch 5 is priced at €109 and features a 2.07-inch AMOLED screen (60Hz) rated at 1,500 nits peak brightness. Watch 5 gets an aluminum frame with a metal dial on the right-hand side and it boots Xiaomi HyperOS 2. There’s a speaker and microphone on board so you can take and make calls directly from the watch.

Redmi Watch 5 also features a built-in GNSS positioning sensor to track your runs and Xiaomi’s new heart-rate tracking sensor which offers 97.1% accuracy. You also get the standard blood oxygen, sleep and stress tracking features and a 550mAh battery rated at up to 24 days of normal usage and up to 12 days with Always-On Display mode.

Xiaomi 33W Power Bank 10000 is a compact 10,000 mAh powerbank with a built-in USB cable that offers up to 33W speeds for charging your gadgets. It also features a USB-A port which supports 22.5W speeds. Pricing is set at €25.

If you need more power, Xiaomi’s 165W Power Bank 10000 gets you a laptop-grade portable charger for those moments on the go. This 10,000 mAh powerbank comes with a built-in LED status display and USB-C cable which maxes out at 165W speeds. You can also charge two devices at 120W and 45W speeds for Xiaomi devices or 65W + 45W for non-Xiaomi devices. Pricing is set at €50.

even xiaomi powerbank haa 33w fast charge 1500$ iphone has 15w ultra slow charging hahhahaha

Checked out the specs of their 33w charger, it does have 20V charging if you use the integrated USB-C charger

I wonder if the Buds 6 Pro sounds much better than the Buds 5 Pro. I would really like Pixel Buds Pro 2, but they're just ridiculously expensive, but Pixel Buds are nice, loud and BASSY. My Redmi Buds 5 Pro sound pretty good, but unfortunately...
