WhatsApp introduced the Events feature for Communities in May and started rolling it for group chats for beta users on Android in June. Later, WhatsApp began testing Community announcement group events on its beta app for Android, and now, it's working on the Community group chat event duration feature.
This revelation comes from WABetaInfo, who said WhatsApp has started testing the Community group chat event duration feature on WhatsApp for Android's beta version 2.24.17.11.
With this feature, community group members will be able to create events with specific start and end times while also adding a location and a WhatsApp call link to them.
This feature should be helpful in Communities where multiple events need to be scheduled. It's unclear when WhatsApp will roll it for all users worldwide, but if you are an Android user and can't wait for the public rollout, you can sign up for the beta program to give it a try.
Most of the social media apps and websites were useful like 10 years ago. Now all of them are filled with junk.
