Realme’s powerful GT series has been absent from the global market for a couple of years, but it is now staging a comeback. First, with the Realme GT 6T launch in India back in May and now with the arrival of the GT 6 globally.

That is happening today with an event under the "Power meets AI" banner. You can watch it live through the stream embedded below:

The Realme GT 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and will feature a 50MP Sony LYT-808 image sensor – we clicked some camera samples that you can check out while you wait for the stream to start. As for AI, the phone will offer Night Vision Mode and Smart Removal. The GT 6 will be equipped with a 5,500mAh battery with 120W charging. These and a few other details were officially confirmed by Realme itself (including an OLED display with up to 6,000 nits of brightness).

There have been some unofficial leaks that detail the specs and the European price. While we await the price, Realme announced the pre-order offers for India.

Why is it useless? Do you print your photos? Otherwise 12 MP will result in bigger individual pixel, which results in better light capture. Even SONY full frame sensor camera ZV-E1 is only 12MP.

At least it's 50MP, if it were 12MP it would be useless.
