Huawei Honor Android IFA 2018

The summer has been filled with Huawei announcements - first it was the Nova 3, later followed by the Nova 3i with a more affordable chipset. Later the company’s subsidiary introduced the Honor Play in India which is basically the Nova 3 chipset with the Nova 3i camera and an aluminum back panel.

Today Honor is having an event in Berlin as part of IFA 2018 where the phone will be launched for all remaining global markets.

The event for the “crazy fast, crazy smart” Honor Play begins at 2 PM CET. We already got our hands on the device and published first impressions before the detailed written review, bound to arrive soon.

Although Honor calls the launch “global”, the phone is currently available for purchase in India and Malaysia and already up for pre-order in plenty of other Asian countries. It is yet to arrive in European and North American markets where pricing is most likely to be slightly different.

The Honor Play was initially announced at INR 19,999 ($290) for the 4GB model and INR 23,999 ($349) for the 6GB variant and is available in Midnight Black, Navy Blue, and Ultra Violet, but there might be color limitation for some countries.

This phone is too Poco, especially when you'll be SOL with a locked bootloader and forever EMUI.
