Joking aside, I understand what you mean, vivo do have a tenancy to be a little over priced considering their specs, however I have had a low end motorola and after 1 year the battery was terrible so its not synonymous with vivo but possible most low end phones.

Everyone entitled to an opinion, so thank you for your insight.

it still performs decently today. still stuck in android 8.1 oreo. it starts to look dated though.

I have a y35 and a v21 and both are great phones and never puts a foot wrong.
People come on here for facts not speculation.

Rly, 19 Feb 2024Why are you write total nonsence, i have Redmi 5+ over 6 years old and still works like first ... moredoes any of your redmi phone gets updates? if not, i understand it can be usable for another year. i am talking about vivo Y series and oppo A series phones where they degrade performance over time. flashing to older firmware is the only way to avoid such problem. (may lead to total data loss) i don't see the point of making horrible spec to price ratio devices. all the money goes to the backdoor design essentially.

I hope that Infinix is doing the same thing to its devices and provide an OS update but it's highly unlikely because of the instability of the hardware optimization

What are you doing with phones man, repaired often? I have phones in my house old 7-8 years not repaired once, and not the same brand either. For you is something like Ulefone Armor 24, i have this Vivo Y36 about 4 moths now and it`s great phone and that Infinix you recommend no one even sells it in my country in Europe so i bet they are not even close with quality of Vivo.

Y series was meant for whose are in need to show off their flashy devices but not focused on unusable specs that are being put into them. oppo and vivos are actually pretty good when it comes to their mid tier but camera oriented series. like Reno and V series, or even high tier ones such as X and Find series. when it comes to durability of Y and A series, is a big joke. i've seen many on every 3rd party repair shops. i use oppo A3s which repaired often compared to my vivo v9.
