vivo Android Announcement

The latest vivo Y-series phone is here with the freshly announced vivo Y22s and it brings several improvements over its predecessor. The Y22s comes equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset alongside 8 GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable via microSD.

There’s a 6.55-inch IPS LCD screen upfront with HD+ resolution and an 8MP selfie cam housed in a waterdrop notch. The back brings a 50MP main shooter with an f/1.8 aperture alongside a 2MP auxiliary module.The software front is covered by FuntouchOS 12 which is based on Android 12. The phone also boasts a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Vivo Y22s comes in Starlit Blue and Summer Cyan colors and retails for VND 5,990,000 ($255) in Vietnam. Open sales are already underway while availability in other countries is yet to be detailed.
