vivo Android Rumors

vivo detailed camera upgrades for the X90 series last month and recently introduced the V2 chip, which will first arrive on the X90 lineup. The company hasn't announced the X90 series' launch date yet, but a leaked promo video tells us the X90 series will arrive on November 22. It will be unveiled in China at 7PM local time.

The clip also includes the vivo X90 Pro+ we've already seen in a leaked photo and an official teaser. However, those pictures showed the X90 Pro+ only in red color, whereas the leaked promo video shows us the smartphone in black color as well. You can watch the clip below.

Another video includes a screenshot of a webpage, which reveals the X90 series will be up for pre-orders in China starting November 14. It also tells us that vivo will unveil the TWS 3 series earphones on November 22.

The X90 series is expected to comprise three models at launch - vanilla, Pro, and Pro+. The X90 Pro+ was recently spotted on Geekbench with Android 13, 12GB RAM, and what's likely the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The vanilla model is expected to have the Dimensity 9200 chip at the helm, while the Pro version could be what vivo was planning to launch as the X80 Pro+ in September, but was canceled. It was expected to have the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 under the hood.

One of the biggest highlights of the X90 series will be the 1" sensor, and while we await more details from vivo about the X90 series and its camera system, you can head this way to learn more about the X90 lineup's camera upgrades and see the camera samples shared by vivo. And after that, you can read about the vivo V2 chip here.
