Does you solve the problem of auto turn off display while calling (place it to your ear) not working properly outdoor = display keep turned on after you place it near ear? Looks like some sensor collide with sun (ir wave) or something. When you are indoor, no problem. Same with or without case...

Well this was and it is the Real Ultra. Oustanding device. Vivo has made the perfection.
Everything is perfect on this device, Camera, Battery, Display, Origin OS, this is the REAL succesor of the Nokia 808, Lumia 1020.
This is the NEW STANDARD.

The main sensor 50MP LYT 900 with AI is fine.
It doesn't look that bad.
It's 8/10 with AI.
The Periscope Telephoto 200MP HP9 is too big, so AI will make the photos ugly.
(My opinion.)
My Vivo X100 Ultra, I mean.
(In darker places, it uses AI image processing, but in bright places, it uses normal image processing.
200MP is the best in bright places + landscape photography and bright close ups.
The 50MP main sensor is good for close ups, bright places and close ups, darker places.)

Wait for the X200 Ultra to be unveiled and then decide if it is worth getting over the X100 Ultra or X200 Pro. I'd say that there still are a couple of improvements that the X200 Ultra might be able to bring over the X100 Ultra, but until it isn't officially unveiled, we can't know for sure.

"Oppo's strategy has always been to recycle parts. Their algorithm is top notch so they don't need to go all out with hardware for a power variant. Downgraded is the wrong word because Pro variant wasn't even a thing in X7 Series. This is how you differentiate between models.
This is the reason why X200 Ultra is the last Ultra vivo will make. They haven't differentiated between Ultra and Pro enough for people to go for Ultra so sales are very low."

There are really good top phones but, ... moreYes, by far I believe this is the best smartphone ever made, no other brand matches this phone in design, quality and beauty or photography if they want to compare, and even if another brand or manufacturer creates an even better smartphone, (I hardly think they can) I would gladly stay with this phone for +10 years. Would always be my favorite. Vivo just made the perfect, the ultimate device, the dream phone. If someone ask me what do you want for your birthday present, what phone would you buy if you had the money, Id go with this one without hesitation. They just nailed it.
All hail king Vivo X100 Ultra, may his reign be long, may he be a reminder of what perfection, balance and beauty means.

The ultra is about 200$ more expensive on average but with a better screen, the pro with a better battery. I guess it comes down to chipset

Well this is the living Legend, The most Ultra of all.
There are really good top phones but, this has almost all. There are some good updates and will be another updates from vivo to tunning camera even more.
There are some aspects offcourse :
- In the processing camera I wish that smoothness to be reduced more. This is one aspect for perfection road, also will be extremely good if in Pro mode can be DENOISE, VIBRANCE mode, also the colors in SRAW Full Resolution must be a little tunned.

What do I mean?
I mean the camera image processing.
I own Vivo a X100 Ultra and I use the 200MP 85mm sensor for landscape photography.
It has normal image processing and AI image processing.
2 different camera image processing methods or types???
Anyway, Vivo X100 Ultra uses both camera image processing methods automaticly.
Vivo X100 Ultra uses normal image processing in bright places, but it uses AI image processing in darker places and in big zooms.
I don't use big zooms, I use the high res mode and mostly the 200MP sensor.
Sadly in cloudy days, it uses AI image processing a lot.
I hope they put a toggle in the camera settings, that we can put the AI image processing on and off.
I know darker photos are noisy, but I prefer normal camera image processing, because AI image processing looks like a chalkboard painting and AI image processing deletes small details, like hair and knuckles.
That's bad!!!
Normal image processing doesn't delete any details at all.
I like the normal image processing big hardware pixels.

In Pro mode Vivo X100 Ultra uses normal image processing, even in darker places, but it is limited to 50MP mode.
We can't use the 200MP sensor at it's full potential in Pro mode.
I give Vivo X100 Ultra 9/10, because AI image processing and normal image processing are automatic.
Make it manual, please????!!!!

Camera processing have too MUCH SMOOTHNES.
Too much smoothnes in processing photos.
Too much denoising but EXTRA smoothnes is NOT GOOD at all.
I think this come s from vivo blue chip. VIVO FIX that SMOOTHNESS.
