I live in US and can't buy most of these Chinese phones with the exception of Xiaomi, OnePlus as they lack many LTE bands. My favorites are for reference only. I don't own any of them.

If it does, you need only a $1 USB-C to 3.5mm cable.
If not, you can buy a DAC for $6.

It is a necessary feature in this price range. That's the problem. People will not complain about the speaker if the price is reasonable. Is this really hard to understand for you?

People don't care about bass on a phone, it's about hearing both left and right channel. And for that you need two speakers, not just one. Try to listen using just one speaker, say left.. and you will see what is the issue when you only have one speaker. Sure, you can use the headphones for stereo and better sounding, but sometimes people want to share what they are watching with others and sometimes you don't even have your buds with you.
