Right on schedule, vivo announced the T1 and the T1 Pro 5G. The T1, as vivo calls it, is the non-5G counterpart to the T1 5G, and is also occasionally called T1 44W - there's some confusion for you.
Both the vivo T1 and the T1 Pro 5G are on sale starting today. Flipkart has a discount so the vivo T1 is INR 14,500, INR 16,000 and INR 17,999 for the 4/128GB, 6/128GB, and 8/128GB config, respectively. The T1 Pro 5G is INR 23,999 and INR 24,999 for the 6/128GB and 8/128GB models.
The vivo T1 Pro 5G is of a doppelganger to the iQOO Z6 Pro, packing a 6.44-inch 1080p display with HDR10+ support and a 1300 nit brightness.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 778G with 5G built-in and there's an 8-layer cooling to manage thermals.
The T1 Pro 5G packs a 64MP main camera, alongside 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro units. There's a 16MP selfie on the opposite side.
The T1 Pro relies on a 4,700mAh battery with 66W charging (and the charger in the box) that can go from 1% to 50% in 18 minutes.
On to the vivo T1, which is a double of the iQOO Z6 44W. Like that phone, the T1 has a 6.44-inch 1080p AMOLED display. The processor is a Snapdragon 680 with a 4G modem, and you get a choice of 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM.
On the imaging front, the vivo T1 has a 50MP main camera and a pair of 2MP sensors - a macro and a depth unit. Like the Pro, the T1 uses a 16MP selfie camera.
The vivo T1 has a bigger 5,000mAh battery with 44W charging. Vivo advertises going from 1% to 50% in 28 minutes.
True, it boggles my mind that even expensive phones from their line up has that water drop notch.
